Dermatoscopic Features of Naevi During Pregnancy—A Mini Review

Changes in melanocytic naevi and development of new have been reported pregnant women. The association between pregnancy melanoma is a controversial topic. We conducted this review to identify the dermatoscopic changes that occur during could facilitate distinguishing benign from suspicious lesions. Medline, Scopus, Embase datasets were reviewed for clinical studies on characteristics naevus pregnancy. Six cohort with total 258 patients 1,167 skin lesions examined fulfilled conditions be included review. None developed melanoma. Development naevi, when reported, was observed less than half participants. most frequent change among increase number dots. vessels, hypo- hyperpigmentations pigment network common described changes. heterogeneous not allowing head-to-head comparisons them. Robust larger evaluation women are needed determine high-risk characteristics.
